I finished off my college years by going to the movies. I mean how else are you supposed to celebrate? And what better way to start my adult life than to go see Ron Burgundy and gang back in action? Exactly, it doesn’t get better than that!
So let me admit that I am so lame, because I watched Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy for the first time last week. Just so that I would be prepared for the sequel. And the first was pretty good, but I'd argue that the second was even better!
First of all, if you are a huge fan of the original, you'll be very pleased with all the shout outs to the first movie. They really brought it and made it for the true fans! But, it is also a stand-alone movie. You don't really need to see the original to appreciate it, but you will enjoy all the parallels, if you have seen the first. There is a good story that really brings everything together, but it is still just as ridiculous and hilarious.
Now can we just talk about how good these guys are? I mean Will Ferrell alone is pure gold; Ron Burgundy is indeed a true legend. But I'd argue Steve Carell is the star that continues to shine brighter. Carell of course plays Brick Tamland, who is by far one of my favorite characters ever; he was my favorite part of both movies. In the first he did not have a huge role, but was always there. In this one, he was legit, and I loved it. Especially opposite his love interest Chani(Kristin Wiig), I mean what a perfect pairing. Can I mention again, because I feel like I've mentioned this so many times over my life that Paul Rudd is magic. I mean he freaking looks younger as he gets older. It's freaking crazy! And he is just amazing as Brian Fantana; I kind of dig him in that get-up. Don't judge me. Champ Kind(David Koechner) was even funnier this time around! The only character I enjoyed more the first time around was Veronica Corningstone(Christina Applegate), but she did not have as big a role this time around. Ron and Veronica's son Walter, was absolutely precious. This group of people is absolutely epic.
If you want a good laugh, definitely check this out! And you are in store for a crazy amount of random cameos from literally everyone!
Will you be watching the news team back in action?

One thing that set Thicke apart from the other 30,000 panicked and stranded tourists, was that he attempted to use his celebrity and some cash to get out of Cabo faster than the less famous folks. The
