Hello Buzznet! Just Suits here, none of that Suit and Tie stuff. It is rather obvioius how much I love this show and yet I know so many of you still haven't given it a shot. Your loss... more Harvey Specter for me. ;) I am laying out all the shows that I will be recapping this week, so you will know where to head the morning after! This is the third review of the week, so let's just dive right in.
WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD, go back if you don't want to know more!
The second half of the season just started up last week with the aftermath of Hardman, the partner at Pearson and Hardman, getting voted out. Everyone knows the firm is vulnerable and they are acting on it, trying to take the firms clients. Harvey goes for it in last week's episode with Zoe, played by Macht's real-life wife, Jacinda Barrett. Unfortunately, things don't go as well as he hoped. Mike Ross ends a poor decision of getting together with his former fling, who happens to now be a married woman, a lapse of judgment brought on by the death of his Grandmother :(
This week's episode starts out with Mike getting cleaned up, but late for work. And Donna greeting Harvery right on time for the dish. We continue to see the awesomness that is Donna. But then Harvey not so happy about Mike being late. One of Harvey's biggest clients is thinking about changing firms which sends him on a mission to make sure all his clients are onboard.
Louis, Louis, Louis is always going to be the second hand. With his betrayal last season, Harvey is just not easy on him. Jessica Pearson gives him a chance, but Louis still feels like he is not welcome. Donna makes Harvey feel slightly bad about being so hard on Mike. Then we see Mike groveling a bit at the bar where he bumps into one of his old co-workers, Jimmy. No coincidence, especially when Jimmy offers Mike a job at another firm. Harvey and Jessica meet with their latest rival and realize they need to step it out in order to keep their clients and staff.
When a client is lost, Louis goes crazy on Harold, poor innocent Harold. Who did everything right, but just did not have the balls to stand up to Louis. Which got him fired. After, Harold and Mike have an awkward conversation about if they were friends in Harvard. The worst part, Mike could have done something about it, but doesn't!
Things really take a turn when Harvey goes to confront Louis to see if he was leaking information to the competition. Harvey basically fires Louis and breaks his heart. It is ashame, because Louis genuinely seemed to be telling the truth, and Harvey had no authority to take it that far. This pushes Louis to take a meeting with the rival firm and is offered a position which he is ready to take. That is until he gets some positive feedback from Jessica and he runs into bruised and beat-up Mike.
The husband of Mike's girl comes and takes him down. No one is surprised, especially Rachel. I wonder how long they are going to be dragged out before they finally get together! Harvey wins his client back and has a meeting with Jessica. He realizes that he has a long way to go before he can get his name up on doors. But redeems himself with Louis, aww!
This recap was a bit more vague that my last few, cause I REALLY want you guys to watch it!
