'Nashville' Recap: You Win Again
Since I am a complete TV addict, be prepared for many TV reviews to come! I have been trying to get all of you into one of my favorite shows on TV right now, Nashville. I don't know how many of you have taken my advice, but you should because the writing, acting and music is all fantastic! For those who do watch, you can come to me after each week's episode to dish out!
WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD! Don't read, if you don't want to know!
Finally Rayna (Connie Britton) and Juliette (Hayden Panetierre) are on tour together! This episode starts off just right, with them performing their hit song,
"Wrong Song" - and they KILL it! Rayna is getting cozy with her new guitarist, Liam (Michiel Huisman), and can you blame her? He is freaking hot and he can sure play that guitar. Juliette doesn't seem to be too pleased about being ignored on stage though.
Then we cut to the cutest thing ever: Gunnar (Sam Palladio) and Scarlett (Clare Bowen) making some pretty music. They think about playing their own music at Winterfest, but then Gunnar let's Scarlett know her ex, Avery, (coughjerkcough) will be playing it. Then we see him being the jerk he is.

We see some tension between Juliette and Rayna, as usual. But then they finally find out about Deacon (Charles Esten) getting cut from the band he was touring with. That lead singer was such an ass! Deacon is such a stand-up guy! Sidenote: as hot as Rayna is with Liam, I really hope her and Deacon end up together. I love her hubby too, but the way it seems to be going, doesn't seem to have much hope for them. Now we get to Deacon yelling at the person who wrote a crappy article about him. Why do people keep letting him down? He's perfect! Minus his lapse of judgement getting with Juliette. Ew.
Rayna is in mommy mode with her daughters, but there is so much tension between her and husband Teddy (Eric Close). Even with Rayna getting a gift from Juliette, it is overshadowed by how disconnected her and Teddy really are. For more tension, Juliette goes to her mother's court hearing. She has a hard time speaking on her mother's behalf. Rayna also gets a new record deal offer.
Scarlett and Avery's old band-mate think up to possibly start up their own band in spite of Avery.
Rayna checks up on Deacon and it turns into so much more. We finally get to see them open up about what happened years ago. They have so much resentment over each other - Deacon seems to be completely over the idea of mending things with Rayna, whereas Rayna just wants to believe she did the right thing. Ugh, Rayna why didn't you wait for him?

Party time! And of course Juliette brings on the attitude. Her mom is at the party and Deacon is nowhere in sight to babysit her. Teddy comes to celebrate with Rayna, big surprise. And Avery tries to make his move on Juliette. Oh-so-much going on. And there is more! Juliette just cannot deal with her mom since she still holds so much against her, she can't see that she is actually getting better. Rayna and Liam gets in fight, because he lied to her about the new record deal she was offered. And he was trying to make a move, but Rayna was not going to take it that far. But then she fires Liam! She and Teddy have a talk and he says something that will stick, "wrong choice, right reason." It really defines pretty much everything going on in the show.
Juliette goes to confront Deacon and finds him alone and sad in his house. She gives him some great advice though. But then we find out that Deacon sobered up for Rayna, ugh he is perfect, I am going to repeat that repeatedly. It doesn't sit too well with Juliette, especially when he tells her that she should be helping her mom. But coming from him, she took the advice and had a lovely heart-to-heart with her mom. It was so sweet.
That moment was taken by freaking Avery feeling all great about himself that his song was on the radio, until he drives by and sees his band making great music with his ex. But the real juice is when Juliette and Rayna take off for tour again and they are waiting for someone. And that someone just happens to be none-other-than, Deacon. Rayna is blindsided and so is Teddy, who looks rather displeased. But the sad thing is, Deacon is there for Juliette and he knows how it is going to hurt Rayna.

Top WTF Moment: Juliette, did you really care that much about the bean dip?
Top Question: Will Liam be coming back? Cause I'll miss his face too much!
