'Pretty Little Liars' Recap: Misery Loves Company

The second half of Season 3 of Pretty Little Liars finally started back up last week.  This show is so addicting, that as annoyed as I get with how stupid the girls are, I just can't stop watching!  The girls picked up after the Halloween episode where things went down. I will be recapping the show for the rest of the season, so if you need somewhere to go talk all things PLL, you found the right place! ;)

As of now, Mona (Janel Parrish) is officially back at Rosewood, finding her way into all the places she shouldn't be.  We as viewers also found out at the end of the first-half of season 3 that Toby is also a part of the A-Team.  In the Halloween episode made sure things did not end well on the party train.  Garrett, who knew a little too much, was killed!  Last episode we saw Spencer (Troian Bellisario) and Mona go head-to-head in a debate, and unfortunately Mona got the best of Spencer.

Now for last night's episode: We were all told that Spencer would FINALLY find out about Toby (Keegan Allen) this episode.  But there was SO much juicy drama before that went down!

Aria (Lucy Hale) has caught a cold, much like the rest of the world, and to top it off she is home alone with Meredith.  Great move, Aria.  It's Spencer and Toby's 1-year anniversary and she is planning on make it the best day ever.  Little does she know though... She wants to give him a surprise so, Toby and Mona think up some plans of their own.  Hanna (Ashley Benson) gets an interview to work with fashion desinger. As she picks out the perfect outfit for her interview, she finds Caleb (Tyler J. Blackburn) taking a shady call.  Everyone is always up to something.

Things really pick up when Hannah goes to her interview.  When she gets to the door, we see a reflection of the Aly look-a-like in a red coat, she's back for another appearance.  Only a matter of time before we see who it is! I'm pretty positive I know, who do you think it is?? As Hanna finally gets in, she is greeted by a bunch of creepy naked mannequins and A! She gets knocked over, but picks up A key.

While Hanna has her run-in with A, she had Emily (Shay Mitchell) tail Caleb to see what shady business is up to.  Before she can find out who he's meeting, she is called away by Spencer.  It turns out Emily's girlfriend Paige (Lindsay Shaw) wanted to meet up with Caleb so they can come up with their own take-down A plan.  Why do they all think they can handle it?  

This episode also had another Aly dream sequence, which we are left not knowing if it is really a dream or reality.  She comes to sick delirious Aria, who gets answers about her dad's involvment with Aly's death.  It is a little strange because Aly takes a doll from Aria's closet which has the diary pages talking about her dad.  After Aly talks to Aria she leaves the doll on Aria's desk, but takes the papers.  But then Aria wakes up. What?! Major confusion. Oh and she's locked in her room, because Meredith is cray cray! 

Meredith literally goes insane.  She was drugged Aria to kep her asleep and went looking through the house to find Aly's diary pages.  She took her cell phone.  Oh and then she literally knocked her out and left her in the basement. Bitch is crazy. When Emily and Hanna came looking for her, she locked them in the basement too!  Eventually Byron comes to the rescue. 

Now, the moment we were all waiting for! SPENCER KNOWS! She found the badge Toby used to get into the mental instution Mona was staying at. But then she confronts him! You guys, I'm SO pissed off! I understand she is in love with him, but I was hoping she used her brains on this one! I really thought she was gonna keep it to herself and tell the girls to work it to their advantage. Ugh, but it seemed like Mona was satisfied with how things turned out.  She especially enjoyed the dinner Spencer made to surprise Toby.

Top WTF moment: They are in high school. HOW and WHY does Spencer have wine? Then Mona sips it up.  It's illegal!

Top Question: Who is the "she" Mona is referring to?  Girl in the Red Coat??
