Friday Favorites: Summer 2012 Playlist

This summer is seriously flying by! I start school at the end of the month... I don't want to go!  Shall have to make the best of it while it lasts!  This next will be busy and fun, have you guys done anything exciting this summer? I'd love to hear!  Now, that I can drive and stuffs, I always have my radio on.  With the gorgeous weather, the windows down, full blast.  Probably my favorite part of driving is controlling the radio. Of course a great summer requires a great playlist.  Here are my favorite songs of the summer...

No Lie - 2 Chainz ft. Drake

Most people are taken aback by how much I love rap music. But I do. A lot.  The beat, love it. The video not so much, not a huge fan of  2 Chainz either.  But Aubrey is what really does it for me. ;)

Lights - Ellie Goulding

I recently found out this song has been out for years. What?! It's about time we all caught on!

Summertime - DJ Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince

There are just some throwbacks we can't forget.  When this comes on the radio, I know it's summer!

Mercy - Kanye West ft. Big Sean, Pusha T, 2 Chainz

Another lame video... Honestly, don't know what it is with rap videos.. But I love the beat and Pusha T's verse.

Summer Girls - LFO 

Another throwback I love! Cheesy, but awesome. Don't lie, you love it too!

Little Talks - Of Monsters and Men

Seriously, obsessed with this band right now.  Still so upset I couldn't go to their concert.  But I shall jam out to them on my own!

Blow Me (One Last Kiss) - Pink

My girl!  So glad she finally came out with some new music.  I had to warm up to this song, but now I'm hooked!

Where Have You Been - Rihanna

Normally not a fan of hers, but this song is just too catchy!

How We Do - Rita Ora

I didn't like the first song she put out, but this one is a great song for the summer. Simple, catchy and fun!

Lemme See - Usher ft. Rick Ross

You should have seen my cousin when I left this song on in my car.  She was like, 'um what are they saying?' But I just love it. Don't ask.

Chasing the Sun - The Wanted

Gotta love these British boys.
