Totally missed a week, doubt you missed me. I was having fun a great time with my cousins in Texas! At this point we are well into summer and I thought why not tell you guys about my dream vacation spots. I know I just went to Texas, but I go there all the time, so it's not that big of a deal. Ever since I can remember I always wanted to travel, see as much as I can. It's never quite worked out in my favor, but hopefully as I get older, I'll get to go to more places. I don't think I will be going anywhere else this summer... But here are some places I am dying to go to!
Mainly Disney World, even though I've gone twice already. Both times I was pretty young and I went with family. I would LOVE to go with my younger cousins or of course my friends. Plus, both times I went I never got to go to Universal, just my luck. And who get tired of Disney World?! Even in fifty years I'm sure I'd jump at the chance to go! I also have never been around Florida, just Disney... So, I think it'd be cool to check out Miami and such.
My school just had a trip there at the beginning of the summer, I was so upset I couldn't go. I've heard that it is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Maybe it's just me, but living here, I feel like all European countries are just so mythical. How much I would love to just spend a day there... There is also the fact that Vienna by Billy Joel is my favoritest song ever. And as he sings, 'Vienna waits for you...'
Forever, I've told myself I would move there when I got the chance. The chance hasn't come yet, but I'm still on board. How ridiculous is that I have lived hours away from New York my entire life and haven't really gone there. We've gone through to get to Canada or go to someone's house... But I have never walked through Time Square, and aside from some time when I was like 2 I have never been to the Statue of Liberty... One day it'll be my home, but before then I would love to go take it all in.
In more recent years I've found that anything I'd actually want to do in the whole television/movie business would go down in Cali, not New York. That was a bit of a wake up call, cause I love the idea of living in New York much more than Cali. I don't take the sun to well, but I would love to walk around in LA... Go to the Hollywood sign... And Disney Land! I love my Disney! Let's not forget the Golden Gate Bridge, how it's always shown at the beginning of Full House, which I was named after... So it's like home.
Weird that I want to visit here because of In Bruges? One of my favorite movies. I know, you are all like, the movie made you want to go there? The movie is gangster movie, but the scenary was just gorgeous. I fell in love.... With Colin Farrell... And Bruges.
I have my mom on board to let me go on the study abroad for a week this fall.. We still have to get my dad to okay to... Since my Vienna trip folded, this is my last hope. It's the last study abroad here at this school that I am actually interested in. And Paris.... Je t'aime... I took french since middle school, but have forgotten a lot of it.. But I will be starting up again in the fall.. The trip would just be 6 days.. But 6 minutes in Paris would be a dream. Fingers crossed for me guys! I hope my parents don't back out...
Paris had been my dream growing up... But somewhere along the way, I stumbled upon this ancient beauty. I took a semester of Italian, and don't remember anything. If I ever get an opportunity to go, without a doubt, I will be there. May just be all the history, architechure, and mythology. I find it all so fascinating. Plus, they make pizza and gelato right? mmmmmmm. Heaven. Or it could be the fact that my favorite movie of all time is in Italian...? ;)
Where are you traveling to this summer?
