Coming Soon: Movies 2012 (Part 2)

Here we are almost half-way through the year. I cannot believe how fast time has gone by! At the beginning of the year I made a post about the movies I was most excited to see during the first half of the year and I ended with Brave, which comes out in a couple weeks. Check that post out HERE. I mentioned 9 movies, including Brave, one that I will include in my follow-up post later this year, and the other I missed. Which means I saw 6 of the 9 movies from my post, but really 6 of 7, not bad. Plus, I saw many more that were not mentioned.

There are just so many movies coming out the next half of the year, that there will be another part that I will make in the fall.  So, you can consider this the Summer Edition. Let's get to it! 

Seeking a Friend for the End of the World - June 22

Never imagined Steve Carrell and Keira Knightley to have such great chemistry.  The movie looks so quirky and cute, very interesting concept.  Terrific cast, I definitely want to check it out. 

Magic Mike - June 29

I am a girl and there are one too many hot guys playing strippers.  If that isn't enough of a reason to check out this movie...

Take This Waltz - June 29

Another movie on the same day?!  This is more of an Indie movie, but it has Michelle Wiliiams and Seth Rogen.  I've been waiting for them to do something since they have so many mutual friends.  Plus, they look super cute together, even though the movie shows how Williams is falling out of love with the lovable Rogen.

The Amazing Spider-Man - July 3

The summer of superheroes is already in full effect with The Avengers.  To say Spider-Man has big shoes to fill is an understatement. But I am excited to see Andrew Garfield step into the role.  Check out the trailer HERE! 

Savages - July 6

Summer of superheroes and Taylor Kitsch.  Well, it would be if he didn't disappoint in the last couple movies.  This one has to be good before people throw the towel in on him.  The fact that Blake Lively is in it too, does not give me high hopes, but I'm always rooting for him.

The Dark Knight Rises - July 20

Another Batman movie, I don't know if you heard about it.  It has this guy named Christian Bale playing him.  It seems like a good bet. HAAAA. I have never been more excited for a movie to come out.  Go watch the trailer HERE! While you're at it look at THIS and THAT, oh and THIS too! ;)

The Watch - July 27

Amongst all the action this summer, I think it's best to take a minute to have a nice laugh. Just to see all these funny people acting stupid together, yes please.

Celeste and Jesse Forever - August 3

There is no trailer for the movie yet, but I have been hearing a lot about it.  It is another indie movie that sounds promising. Plus, I love Andy Samberg, and now that he is done SNL I need to get my dose of him somehow.  And it sounds much better than That's My Boy. 

The Campaign - August 10

This kind of comedy is normally not my cup of tea... But I lurve Zach Galifinakis, lurve him.  And I will vote for anything he does. 

Lawless - August 29

Well hello Tom Hardy, he has quickly become one of my favorite actors around these days.  And there is Gary Oldman and Shia LeBeouf.  This seems to be a good bet.
