Current Obsession: Asher Monroe
All right Buzzneters, I need some help! Remember back when I did that interview with up-and-coming band Courrier? Just an update on them, more of their songs will be featured on the CW including Gossip Girl and 90210, make sure to check it out. So, I'd love to do more interviews with more musicians/actors, anyone really. I've been trying to do some interviews, but obviously I don't really know anyone. I've been trying to contact people via Twitter and such, which brings me to my point.
Asher Monroe, also known as Asher Book, who used to be in V Factory, is now doing his own solo career. I loved V Factory and I LOVE Asher. He has a page for fan questions and I asked him if he would do an interview with me and he said, "Sure reach me on twitter. Do you work for Buzznet." Once I told him I don't officially work for Buzznet he said, "Can you blog about me? Please do. I wouldn't mind!" So here I am blogging about this very talented singer/actor/dancer. I need you all to comment and go tweet him @AsherMonroe and tell him to do an interview with me now that I've blogged about him! Also, Buzznet please let me be a part of crew!
Let me tell you a little about him. Other than he is uber talented. He sings! As I mentioned he was a part of the boy band V Factory, you might remember this song:
He's the first close up, isn't he cute? Anyways, I was obsessed with that song! It was such a shame they went their seperate ways. Asher also acts! Do you guys remember the re-make of Fame? Yep, he was in that as Marco. And my favorite acting job he did, was of course, Parenthood! He was kind of annoying, but it was funny to watch!
Now he's been doing his own solo career. You can check out his YouTube page to hear some of his music. He has a fantastic voice! Here's my favorite video of his.
So, how 'bout that interview now?
What do you guys think? Do you like his music?
You can go to his website HERE and download a free song.
