Friday Favorites: April 2012 Movies
First off, can I say that I love the new Drake ads in the background... And also how depressed it makes me that I most likely won't be going... :P Anywhos, I've still been on a roll with watching movies this month! Lucky me for having friends who work at movie theaters! One of my friends who works at the theater will be leaving in a month, so after this month my movie watching may slow down a bit. But you know I'll be seeing Spiderman and Dark Knight Rises! :D Let's get to the reviews now.
American Reunion
Well, I was excited to see all the boys back together again after over a decade! Everyone came back for this one, which was fantastic. However, it just wasn't as good as the first three. There wasn't much going on and it was kind of all over the place. I always love Stiffler and Eugene Levy 'Jim's Dad' is amazing! He kind of made this movie. It was a nice gesture to show us where they all ended up, but you can watch it when it comes on TV sometime.

Cabin in the Woods
The first scary movie I saw in theaters... Oh wait, I watched Darkness Falls in theaters years ago, that was stupid. I actually enjoyed this movie! It was kind of what I expected Hunger Games to be like, if that makes any sense. Totally not what I was expecting, that's for sure. Plus, it has Jesse Williams, hottie. The character Marty was amazing and hilarious. The end was not my favorite, but overall I liked it.

Chimpanzee
Another first, I never watch documentaries, unless it's for school. My friend is a huge animal lover, so I tagged along. It was a really sweet story, heartbreaking a bit, but really sweet. If you like nature and animals, totally check it out.
The Lucky One
Oh man, why? I am NOT a romantic, but Zac Efron was in it and I thought, we'll get to see him shirtless. He only lost his shirt like 2 hours into the movie and I was sleeping for the first half. It was horrible. Sorry to all Nicholas Sparks fans, but I just can't. The little kid in the movie was super adorable, but sitting there for 2 hours watching Zac Efron and his dog walking around was not worth it. Maybe if he walked around shirtless I could have kept my eyes open.
Think Like a Man
If you haven't seen it yet, please go now! I'm not saying it's the best movie ever, or even close, but Kevin Hart is flipping hilarious! The cast is incredible. My friend and I have been talking about it because our love Turtle, Jerry Ferrara from Entourage was going to be in it, and he was great! Along with him, there was Michael Ealy, I don't know if you all know him. Let me just tell you, he is one of the most gorgeous men on the face of the Earth. Not only was the cast amazing for the guys, but the girls as well, there was Taraji P. Henson and Gabrielle Union among others. Absolutely fantastic, with lots of great cameos. It's a laugh, definitely my favorite this month!
