Friday Favorites: Bands Part 2

Last week I pretty much covered most of the bands I love.  Then I posted it and was like OMG I forgot some!  So, I just decided to make a part 2!  Even then I'm sure I still haven't covered them all!  There are just too many awesome bands!

The Band Perry

Yes, I know they are more country, but look its The "Band" Perry!  I'm not the biggest country fan, but I absolutely love their music.  It is cute and sweet!  Their one song always makes me laugh it's called 'Quittin' You', it reminds me of that band-aid commercial. I don't know, I'm just weird like that!

Coldplay

Their music is so soothing.  I have a whole playlist I like to call 'sleepy music', it has almost everyone from my FF: Singers list, some Ingrid Michaelson, Parachute, Yael Naim, and Coldplay of course!  And have you seen their new music video with Chris Martin dressed as an elephant! :D

The Fray

Ever since 'Over my Head (Cable Car)' I've loved them.  I love his voice it is just so peaceful.  Their self-titled album was my favorite.  And they did a cover of Kanye West's 'Heartless' which I loved more than the original.

Hot Chelle Rae

Ryan Follese is major cuteness.  Oh and they make good music. No, but seriously they do!  It's always fun and cute!  They make me smile.

Incubus

One of my favorite bands EVER!  My favorite song of all time is 'Drive' and after I heard that I went and listened to all their other music.  Sometimes I feel like they write just for me!  'Oil and Water', 'Dig', 'Make Yourself', 'Nice to Know You', 'Love Hurts', man I could go on and on.  If you haven't really listened to them, do it!  Now! I just <3 them!

Red Hot Chili Peppers

I remember their music being on while I would listen to Britney and NSync.  That was right around the time 'Californiacation' came out and I was kind of like, 'what is this?'.  But then I was like, 'it's complete awesomeness'!  They are so funny! Years later they are still just as awesome!  

Switchfoot

I was a fan even before, but the soundtrack to A Walk to Remember.  I was like, 'I like this song, and this song, and this song' and it was most of their songs!  Their lyrics are just wonderful, and the fact that they are all born-again Christians.  They are just amazing! :)
